Behind the scenes at the Concierge June fashion shoot

By Naomi Chadderton, Fashion Editor, Concierge

One of the most enjoyable (albeit busiest) days of the month preparing a Concierge edition is our high-end fashion shoot. A day when our stylist, photographer, art director, fashion editor (myself) and, of course, models come together to create a little piece of luxury.

This month, the team headed to Al Barari, an exotic paradise of luxury villas off Emirates Road, Dubai, to shoot the editorial for our June issue. Our fabulous models Albe and Aydin from Bareface, were styled head-to-toe in some of Spring/Summer 2012’s best looks. With a 1950s theme, luxury labels including Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel and Alaia graced the shoot, chanelling Mad Men-inspired outfits. Hair and make-up artist Dennie Pasion was on hand to create Betty Draper-esque beauty looks for Albe while Aydin played the part of the stylish husband.

Shoot day is always a long one, but the hard work pays off in the images we create. Thanks to the team at Al Barari for creating our picture-perfect setting and loaning us a retro Mercedes for one of the shots, which added the perfect finishing touch.

Below are a few behind-the-scenes images. However, you’ll need to pick up the magazine in June to see the shoot in full.
